Missoula photojournalism and wedding photographyArthur in the Sky

Arthur Mouratidis is a photographer from Missoula, Montana whose lighthearted personality transfers into a knack for capturing humor in photography. He loves looking at the world through a lens, where inspiration can as easily be found in morning coffee cups and afternoon hikes as in documenting the key moments in peoples' lives. His attention to detail translates into unique, powerful images.

Born in New Hampshire, Arthur started his westward migration with a move to Madison, Wisconsin, where he lived for almost six years. He bought his first digital SLR camera in Madison, sparking a passion for photography that eventually led him to a photo internship at a small newspaper in Colorado. After completing his internship, he stayed on as a photographer, where he captured local and regional politics, snow sculpting competitions, campus life and sports at UC Boulder, fantastic ski races (and falls) and developed his skills as a photojournalist. He continues to hone his talent through travels and photography courses around the Northwest. His photos appear in newspapers nationwide and various regional publications.

In addition to photography, Arthur enjoys cycling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his dog Sunnydale. He can usually be found with at least one camera over his shoulder, and occasionally a shiny red Holga around his neck.
